Earning A Place In History, Packers vs 49ers?

What would it be like to play in Green Bay tomorrow night?

Current Headlines

Polar Vortex to blast extreme frigid temperatures over Green Bay Wisconsin as residents are bracing for a deep freeze. Highs likely won't reach zero for the next week and wind chills will drop to 45 below beginning Sunday night.

Does this change your thoughts on the outcome of this game? Do you also believe that either Frank Gore and Eddie Lacy are about to earn a pay raise?

Update:

richard s "Anybody who plays in and endures that type of weather deserves a raise."

Oh how true that statement is. This is not going to be fun for anyone involved, as a matter of fact, it's really going to make those hits hurt and that ground feel like concrete.

Update 2:

ROCK aholic; You're in there with the bunch of us here in "Tropical" Fairbanks Alaska. While we're use to working in the frigid temps it seriously changes everything, including slowing down your decision times. This is going to be interesting but as to who it effects worse, that is a subject none of us are agreeing on here.

We're currently experiencing some record high temps. 21 right now at 01:00 AM. Crazy warm weather...

Update 3:

Crazy, Arrived in Anchorage Alaska at 5AM this morning and it's all of 35 degrees and raining. Crazy.

No player on either team enjoys playing in that kind of weather. I wonder, if Bud Grant still

was coaching, that he would insist that his players play in short sleeves with no heaters allowed

on his sideline in that kind of weather. Anybody who plays in and endures that type of

    weather deserves a raise.

It's going to be the Ice Bowl part II.

It actually does change my thoughts on the game. I believe the 49ers are the better team, and I thought they'd win with less than a touchdown, but after hearing about the weather, I think it'll give the Packers a slight edge, just enough to beat the 49ers. I'm calling the Packers to win, 16-13.

I mean, c'mon. This is San Francisco playing in sub-zero temperatures. That's a hilarious disadvantage for them.

@ richard - don't you mean Vince Lombardi?

I think its funny they brag about loving cold weather and the frozen tundra and nobody wanted to go to the game. the seats had to be bought out by a large firm in order for the game not be blacked out

The first team to score will probably win.
