How do i cook a pork loin in the crock pot?
I have a pork loin that is already pre-marinated and seasoned, and some potatoes, carrots, & onions. last time i did this i cooked it in the oven but i want to use my new crock pot. The pork loin is almost 4lbs. and the package says in the oven you would cook it at 425 for 30minutes per pound. How does that translate into crock pot time? I need to know what temperature to set it at and how long to let it cook. THANKS!

I would suggest using the oven, not the crock pot. A loin is a tender cut of meat without much fat. It doesn't need to stew in liquid for a long time to become tender. Reserve your crock pot for a pork shoulder or beef pot roast.

I would not.
Loin is too lean to cook long and slow in a crock pot and can become very dry.
That is better in the oven roasted.

set it on low for 4 to 6 hours. Make sure you have some liquid on the crock pot. I would suggest apple cider or juice as pork goes very well with apple. If you can, sear the meat in a pan first to caramelize the outside.
