Does anyone have problems with "Zombies! Run!" on a treadmill?

I've been using this program for my outdoor running workouts, but have recently started running indoors as the weather has gotten much colder. I tried using my "Zombies! Run!" app on the treadmill, and got "caught" during the chases yesterday as I couldn't get the treadmill to accelerate fast enough in order for me to evade them. Does anyone else have this problem with using a treadmill, and is there a way to fix it?
