How to close off Drop Box from my Computer ?

Question

I am selling my Computer So I want to know how can I close off  Drop Box from my current Desktop Computer.  But I just want to close it from my  Computer , but not like I can't  open Drop Box  anymore in another computer.

Also,  how can I  delete  downloads. If there are any other things I must delete so that the person who buys my computer cant get access to my data , please let me know.

Any help or suggestions will be highly appreciated.

Hi,

If you are selling your computer, your best bet is to copy all of your precious files onto an external hard drive; then completely format the hard drive. If you don't then there will be traces of browsing history, and potentially bank details can be extracted.

You can either sell the computer with no operating system, or you can restore it to how it was when you brought the PC new with a recovery disc. Either of these will be safe, but just backing up your files and uninstalling programs is not.

Darik’s Boot and Nuke CD is the easiest way to permanently and totally destroy every bit of personal information on that drive—nobody is going to recover a thing once this is done.

Goto your dropbox account, and de-authorise your PC from there.
Once done, then un-install drop box.
