Chihuahua having a baby?

So, um, this morning my chihuahua had a puppy just one, and she must of gotten pregnant by a big dog, since the baby was really big, and it was hard to get the baby out since it was so big and shes a tiny chihuahua. Well, the puppy sadly died about an hour ago. and she ran into the cage that the baby was in. and she licked him and we took the baby out and she's still in the cage and she wont come out, is she gonna be okay?

You should be ashamed of yourself for allowing this to happen. What do you mean 'she must of gotten pregnant by a big dog'? Don't you monitor your dog? Please don't tell us you let this tiny creature outside alone. Get her neutered. She probably needs to be seen by a vet to make sure she wasn't injured having this puppy.

You mean you don`t even know what dog your Chi mated with?

That is just SO irresponsible. You should be ashamed.

"is she gonna be ok?" you ask.

Who knows? with an owner like you, anything could happen to her.

Get her checked over by a vet in case of any internal injuries caused by delivering an over sized pup. Sorry but questions like this should be addressed to vet, not a dog forum. Jmo.

No she's not. Take her straight to your vet for an examination, and probably for the C.Section she's going to need (Chis. don't often self-whelp, even with normal sized puppies), if she still has puppies yet to be born.

    Vet - NOW!

Add - I hope the contributor here who asked about her Chi who is 33 days into a pregnancy and 'uncomfortable' reads this.

You need to get this dog to a vets and make sure there is nothing left inside her... and BOOK A SPAY while you are there.

This dog should never have been left unsupervised around a big dog or any other dog while in heat. You are very very very lucky she is still alive.

Please just get to a vet to clean her out and make sure nothing is left otherwise she could still die of infection.

She's probably going to be depressed for a while. Eventually though, she'll get over it. Dogs tend to forget trauma a lot more easily than cats do, and certainly more easily than humans. Just give her some time and try to pet her every so often.
