I'm scared to join the local soccer club?

I recently turned 14. I've put off joining the club for ages because I'm so afraid of being alienated (since the other girls on the team know each other already, I might just be a shadow on the field), and I'm only a beginner in soccer (I never did any sports growing up, so everyone will be better than me. I only got into he school team by default, and I have no prior experience in soccer.) how do I overcome my insecurities and just move on?

Usually there will be different grades. A grade is generally the best right down to whatever your club goes to. Join the lowest grade you can and there will probably be girls the same level as you, then you can work your way up. Or when you join say "look, I've never played before but I'm really eager to learn so please be patient", then they'll have that expectation of you.

Just relax and enjoy it. If they do play competitively and you dont get in the team, that doesn't mean you wont be welcome to take part in training and be with the team on match day. Every team has at least a couple of guys who only play when others dont turn up. It doesn't make them lesser people and if the club is well run and with nice people they wont think you're a fool. Relax and have a good time

If you didn&#x27;t try you will not know what could happen.

You must to have the guts to participate and prove yourself and talent to everybody.

Confident is what you lack, acquire it and you&#x27;ll do more than good.

And don&#x27;t pay any attention to trivial matters that could struggle you to get to what you seek.
