Does anyone still darn socks?

When a sock starts to show wear (you can see your skin through the fabric) it goes in the garbage.

Yes did some yesterday as a matter of fact, I find it relaxing. The trick is to put a light bulb into the sock and they are really easy to darn and don't bunch up, that is a trick my Grandma taught me.

I've never darned a sock. I lose socks too often to ever get a hole in one..

I did this morning . i was running through the house yelling where is that darn sock .

I do with my good socks... not on my cheap ones. It's not especially hard, and it saves me from having to toss an otherwise perfectly good pair of socks in the trash.

I did and occasionally still do....for spouses dress socks.

when they **** me off I condemn them to hell...oh wait, sorry....

yeah, I have but probably not in about 10 years....I don't wear the big wooly ones anymore, and the others are cheap enough to replace, not worth my time.
