Yahoo point counter malfunctioning and totally screwed up.?

You will get two points for ever answer you give, but there is a glitch in the counter though

The counter isn't incorrect. The "Alert" message is. It is on a repeating cycle that is constantly posting the last 6 things that happened to your account, NOT just the most recent thing, which is what it is supposed to be doing and always has done in the past.

So, for example, if I get 2 BAs and answer 4 questions, my alert shows 28 points - every time I change the page. I don't GET 28 points each time, though, obviously. When I answer another question, it will show 20 points (drops the first BA, adds 2 for the new answer), but it only ADDS 2 points for the newest answer to my counter / score total.

This is a very confusing glitch, but once you realize what is happening, you learn to simply ignore it.
