why does england get such crazy weather?

every time i see england, it seems like they are always cold or rainy or both, dos it ever get hot and sunny like the u.s or is it always like that.

    It varies a lot. It's because it's an island so a lot of influence from the sea bringing in the crazy weather.

    If crazy means wild and varied, it doesn't. UK has one of the most stable and predictable weather patterns in the world - low variation in summer-winter temps, no danger of violent events like hurricanes, no monsoons, no dry season, no extreme freezes or dangerous heatwaves.

    If crazy means always wet & cold, then that's because it's a long way North, does not get enough Sun, yet does not freeze much thanks to the Gulf Stream ocean current keeping it from freezing hard like Russia or Canada.

    Not very often but there'll be some hot weather during spring/summer/autumn. It varies a lot.
