Double predestination has always been false and never thought by Calvin. A Christian is predestined to eternal life, an unbeliever walks willingly to hell. There was only two people that from the beginning of was predestined to hell. First one we now know, Judas. The second "son of peridon" is the Antichrist, and is yet to be revealed.

Hi! God is sovereign...and decides...as the scripture says...

    we have those predestined...so ...that's that...to say

that isn't true here and there is to deny this.

And certainly wheat are wheat and tares are tares, as

Jesus said in the parable. Tares don't ever become wheat,

    'they reproduce after their kind'.

But Jesus also said 'I reap where I do not sow'...

    now what does that mean?

That to me means that those predestined go and

spread the message to others who were neither

predestined, nor wicked...but the vast inbetween.

I don't watch videos for many reasons, but do

    read the bible.

The bible says 'many called, few chosen'...but

it seems the called are also saved...as we look

    at other scriptures.

The bible says that 'no good seed will be lost'

    and again, that's that.

But it's God's call, not the person's call.

To 'foreknow' means just that...means known BEFORE.

So we pre-existed, and those who are wicked didn't

just do that during this lifetime.

Not everything is explained, and I can't explain

everything, but these things are what the bible says

    before it's all twisted around.

Is double predestination false...well, the video doesn't put forth very good arguments for Lutheranism.(Arminianism) as opposed to Calvinism. It starts out with a clip from Way of the Master, which is not Calvinistic anyway, so nothing to oppose from 1:15 forward.

He "stacks the deck" with an argument against supralapsarianism and God orchestrating the fall of Adam, leaving out. the problem with infralapsarianism and God's reaction to the fall (Calvinists make this a moot point anyway as Adam never had free will to react to). Mr. Fast-talker then goes on to accuse Calvinists of denying the viability of Romans 11, specifically vs. 32, "For God has consigned all to disobedience, that he may have mercy on all." His "out of context" accusation of Romans 9:15 based on this verse is unfounded, because the idea of the Elect is maintained throughout both chapters, and 11:32 can only be reasonably interpreted as having mercy on all OF THE ELECT. To think otherwise smacks of universalism. This is all the further I had time for in reviewing the video.

Back to double predestination. This is known in Calvinist circles as the "antithesis" of predestination, and God's right to do as he wishes with his creation. A hardened heart only leads to what Man will naturally do, and this in no way implicates God in causing evil. God IS powerful enough to direct evil to do His will, and He is glorified in this! To think that God gives us a choice, however, would mean by definition that God stands in debt to those who negotiate with Him via simple decisions and acceptance, "all you have to do" mentality. The whole tone of Romans 9 and Romans 11 deny this, putting the authority over salvation into God's hands, not man's.

If you can't articulate your position, just what makes you think many people are going to watch your video? Evidently, YOU can't articulate predestination to begin with and I have no idea what double predestination is. I've never heard of it therefore, it doesn't exist.
