Used to be the norm for every guy until indoor plumbing. Or guys growing up in the country-- when I grew up only time I peed inside was at night. Outside all day so always did it outside. Lots more convenient.

Depends on where you are doing it. If you are doing it in private it is ok. I watched a guy once standing on sidewalk whip it out and waving at passings cars while peeing.

As long as you are doing it in a private situation, as opposed to doing it for exhibitionist purposes, it is fine. You enjoy urinating in the outdoors; no one witnesses it. What’s the harm?
