How to register marriage of Indian/Filipino?
I am an Indian and wish to marry my girlfriend in hindu temple who is a Philippines nationality.im hindu,she is Christian. But for prevention, i asked my area registrar,he told Will deny to register the marriage as its not comes under indian marriage act and he doent wanna risk.Now waiting how to do marriage as time, money running and delay of getting permanent visa for her. We both are middle class family. Not getting good lawyer too to finish all formalities. Kindly help me.i am from Tamilnadu state,India

Either your registrar is ill informed or did not understand your query correctly. You can register this marriage under special marriages act since Hindu marriage act applies only to marriages solemnized between people of Hindu origin (in strictly legal sense) like Hindus, Buddhists, Jains, Sikhs etc.
To register this under Hindu Marriage act, you will have to convert her to Hinduism. I am not sure how it is done but there must be a way.
