WHO is stealing or removing posts from this Poetry section?

I posted a short poem here a month or so ago. It has disappeared. It was clean and witty, and Mine. How do I report this?? I get no explanations from 'management'... "Answers" is full of incompetence, or what...?

Did you ask a question? For instance, "How can this poem be improved?".

If not, it would have been reportable as chat. Y!A isn't a venue for just posting poems. You can post a poem, but it *must* come with a question seeking information or advice (and not just "Do you like my poem?").

Posts are removed when they get enough weight of reliable user reports (that is, reports from users with a track record of reliable reporting).

What it is full of - is RULES. Which you may or may not have read, understood and/or followed.

    So, facts first:

Did you get ANY answers on your "question"?

Did you pick the Best Answer or let it go to voting?

Did you get a violation notice?

Finally, did you actually ask a question - or just post it and ask for comments? (Which is against the rules, BTW.)

There are several reasons questions are deleted – not all are due to violations:

► No answer in 4 days

► Answered, voters choose "No Best Answer"

► Best Answer reported for violation

    ► Reported as violation

If you got NO notice, deletion might be due to one of the first 3 reasons. Nothing to be done about that; it is simply how the site works.

If you got an EMAIL, then your question was reported. It generally takes at least 2 reports for an item to be removed as a violation, although one report by a person with an extremely HIGH “trust” level can do it in certain circumstances. Reading and understanding the rules, then following them, will prevent this type of removal for the most part.
