Why would anybody force you to destroy a food garden?
It is being done to me. Started garden on rented land, but am told by co-tenant to get rid of it now because he's vacating, but not me. Landlord does not mind my garden (all was ok when I started). Destroying food like this has to be a Crime in any circumstance, legitimate or not!
5 AnswersGarden & Landscape7 years agoWhat do you think of people who force you to destroy or abandon a garden?
I have a food garden sub-leased on rented land. Now the tenant wants me to destroy it because he's vacating. (I made arrangements with landlord to keep it for the season). Now, what vile character would destroy sacred Food? It's a crime no matter what! Your views, please.

3 AnswersOther - Holidays7 years agoWHO is stealing or removing posts from this Poetry section?
I posted a short poem here a month or so ago. It has disappeared. It was clean and witty, and Mine. How do I report this?? I get no explanations from 'management'... "Answers" is full of incompetence, or what...?
2 AnswersYahoo Answers7 years agoThe 70s rock band Spirit; anybody know them?
A non-mainstream group; the lead guitarist called himself Randy California. His guitar style is similar to Carlos Santana. I had their LP "The Twelve Dreams Of Dr. Sardonicus". Environmental themes in songs like 'Fresh Garbage' and 'Nature's Way', way ahead of our times. Their best known hit was 'I Got a Line On You, Babe', still a real pop rocker. Great forgotten album. Any comments?
8 AnswersRock and Pop7 years agoAsparagus: for how many years does it produce edible spears?
1st year= a pretty feathery plant; 2nd year- spears come up as much different plant; 3rd year= what?
Is asparagus bi-annual or perennial? If I cut the 2nd -yr spears, will that plant still produce more, like, say, lettuce does thru the summer?
Nobody around here seems to know, not even my garden center..
6 AnswersGarden & Landscape7 years agoCould any two trees be totally identical?
They claim that no two Snowflakes are identical (ie at any one time). A tree is far more complex, so every tree of a kind should be different, even just in a slightly altered symmetry, yes? (I use 'tree' as a sample specimen; choose your example). What do you think?
3 AnswersBotany7 years agoQuiz: Famous author who was born And died during Halley's Comet?
I posted this recently with only one result. And the Q defaulted to 'Celebrities', dam. It is meant to be an ASTRONOMY question. My answer is Mark Twain. (I think that UFO researcher Hynek died in 1986 when Halley's last returned...) Do you have other interesting tales connected to Comets? Thanks.

1 AnswerYahoo Answers8 years agoWhere are the 2 places in the world where the noble metals (gold, silver, platinum) are found close together?
I know one such place is the Similkimeen River in B.C., Canada. The other is allegedly in Siberia, but where exactly? Oh yeah; silver is magnetic, gold is not. How about platinum? (easier to pan magnetically, eh?). There may be more than 2 such areas, I don't know...
