need help fixing my car!!!!!?
I jumped the front of my car over a huge train track not knowing it was huge and slammed my engine on the ground( very low car). Then right after it happened i started to hear a faint clinking noise and slight loss of power followed by a oil light about 30 minutes after. Now my car has the noise but much louder than before. It struggles to get above 3000 rpm and when i try to, it gets a lot louder. It also smokes bad when i try and get it above 3000 rpm. i have no check engine light. Can slamming the bottom of your engine cause your timing chain to go out of whack and start making very loud noises, cause smoke, and have an oil light?

that my rice burner friend is the classic signs of you wasted the oil pan and your engine now has no oil that's why the oil light came on then you ran the engine with no oil, so that's where the smoking of the engine rolls in and the loud clunking sound and the crap load of smoke, in other words YOU KILLED THE ENGINE. how to take care of this easy replace the driver first of all then replace the engine. good luck.

CEL's are kind've an oxymoron. Your engine is dying from internal damage to the oil pump or worse and yet no CEL. It doesn't really care about your engine just the emmisions that gets put into the air by a badly running engine. Most oil lights are for lack of pressure and are way more important then most CEL's ever are. You are experiencing one of the many disadvantages to a lowered car. Check your oil now.

Yes! Yes! and Yes! Slam the pan on the ground and drive it up against rotating components and they will put a hole in it while they make loud noises grinding metal against metal. The oil will run out the resulting holes. No oil equals no oil pressure equals oil light on equals ruined engine. New engine equals you need $3,000 to $5,000.

If you did not so much as examine for damage right away, you are a fool. But you continued driving it until it ran out of oil, or what? Then you continued trying to use it?
All I can say is WOW! This will cost heaps to repair!
Is there no CEL because it's not fitted with one?
