Differences in Pro and College Football?

the actual football, folks........NCAA has the white stripe on half, the NFL does not.

    I think Sams point regarding the stripe to help a receiver locate or see the ball better is accurate.

    I could be wrong but I believe that is really the only difference.

    because they can... the ball is also slightly rounder in college. but there are also rule differences as well. i dont think theres an actual rule as to why, but some say its to help receivers locate the ball and to help with gripping.
