Does this poem have emotion?
The lonely voice pierces the quiet night
And speaks to no one but the saddest dark
The stars aloft hold no comfort or delight
They shine not for me on their journey's arc
A face I saw fades in the tear stained sky
As I called out for just one more minute
Still questioning the reasons for the why
This world is lifeless without love in it
Disillusioned I reached out in vain
Finding nothing but two hands trembling still
To grasp at a cold hollow dark in pain
And find an empty chalice I will never fill
To hear the heart calling in quiet night
To watch love's world scatter beyond the light

An "A List" closing couplet...one of the best yet.
To hear the heart calling in quiet night
To watch love's world scatter beyond the light
This poem flows so smoothly with well chosen wording and
phrases.
The emotion is there and is open for interpretation.

Yes I think it does did you write this? If you did it is very good.I would recommend putting in words people can relate to and force the more into the feeling so they can visualize and really feel it like maybe "The loss of love is to much to bare, Leaving loneliness and emptiness in the dark trenches of my soul, speaking to the dark sky with only the voice of the wind"
Hope this helped!

It has a little, mostly depressing emotions. The only thing is that its not easy to relate too. Its all vague and in metaphor the way to really make it have emotion is to tie in things that people can imagine feeling like saying "once love is lost I feel the cold dead weight of all my sorrow and pain stopping my heart and makes every breath i take empty of life."
