English saddle for rail classes?
I'm looking for a new English saddle. I just do rail work and some dressage (by some I mean 1-2 tests in a year and they are extremely laidback). I have no intentions to jump. I'm wondering what's your personal opinion on style of saddle to get? All purpose or dressage?? I'm looking purely for equitation, which saddle makes it easier to keep your equitation. I had used an all purpose for a couple shows last year but my friend said it looked more like a jumper and it made keeping my equitation very difficult but I had used a different all purpose before that and it was great. But I am just worried that some all purposes will still be more like jumpers. Do you think dressage saddle would be the safer bet or should I still go with an all purpose? Also if you know some good brands that arn't too pricey would be helpful too. And I do like the synthetic saddles too (like wintec).
Thanks in advance!

I LOVED my Bates Caprilli close contact, with CAIR.
It fit my horse great, was super comfy and felt broke in the first time I rode in it.
My sister had ALWAYS ridden in a Stubben Siegfried. She rode in my Bates once, and stole it. (well, borrowed it for a show, loved it so much, she kept it and bought me a new one)

Stubben yeah. My ex-sister stole my mothers and sold it. Me &My mother did endurance rides in it. They are that comfortable.

Well I would say find something as similar as what you have been riding in/ learning in already. What have you been using?
