Why we must die? Why our body has shorter life even than a table?

A table is dead wood. It's no less dead because its not rotting in the ground.

We die because without death our entire concept of life would be meaningless. From the dawn of time we as people obsess over what we'll leave behind, be that children, or a name, or a discover, or an invention, it is our ambition that makes life meaningful. Ambition is fueled by what we want accomplished before our time comes. We want people to remember us, to leave behind a legacy. We can't be remembered without the risk of being forgotten, we can't truly live without the risk of death.

Okay, so you decide what to believe here, but I'm gonna tell you why.In the bible, God made a man named Adam.Adam felt lonely, so God created a woman named Eve.God told them to never eat the forbidden fruit from a certain tre or they would grow old and die.The serpent was a tricky and clever snake, and convinced Eve to eat from the forbidden fruit.Well, she did and Adam also got a bite from it.God discovered they had disobeyed him.So on, they did grow very old and Adam had to work hard in order to get grains from the ground and have something too eat.Eventually they died.

The entire cosmos is constantly changing. Without change we nor any life form could exist. Death is surrendering the atoms we inherited back to the provider. They in turn get other benefactors who get to use them. Much like a library book it feeds a new hunger and gets returned to be shelved so others may gain. It is the gift that keeps on giving.

Actually among animals we humans have the longest average life span. A table and other things are just that - things. They may have more days to their lives, but they have much less life in their days.

Our body's are just a shell

we must inhabit to interact on the physical plane
