Why is the MSI GP70 the same price as the GP60?

I'm looking into buying an MSI, to use for gaming, nothing else though, as I have a Macbook Pro that I use for music programs, and I use that for everything else as well.

My question is, however, when I went on MSI's website, I was looking at the models, and I compared the GP70 to the GP60 to see why they were the same price, expecting to find some sort of flaw or something in the GP70. After comparison, I found that the GP70 has either equal or better specs to the GP60, such as 250GB more storage, a larger screen, the same weight, etc.. So is there any sort of downfall of the GP70 that would push me to buy the GP60? Such as reliability, or if it tends to run faster or something?

This link is to the official MSI website with the comparison:

Please stay away from both of these models. Look close enough, and you'll see that the displays they're using are 15.6" 1366x768 and 17.3" 1600x900 displays. 1366x768 resolution in a 15.6" display, and 1600x900 resolution in a 17.3" display make things onscreen rather large, and furthermore almost all LCD panels made for laptops that are these sizes with these resolutions are low-grade LCD panels with very poor image quality due to the grayish blacks and overall washed-out look brought on by poor contrast, as well as severely-limited viewing angles. In a day and age where 14" 3200x1800 and 15.6" 3840x2160 laptops are starting to make their way into the market, and in a day and age where you can pretty much expect a decent display in any $300 tablet, a nonsense display like this in a $900 laptop is further losing its already diminished relevance.

For one thing, there is THIS variant on the 15.6" MSI GP60 on Newegg for $949: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N8...

If you're interested in the MSI GP series, this is the one you want to be considering. Comes with an excellent display that's 15.6" with 1920x1080 resolution (lets you fit a lot onscreen) and that's overall good in terms of quality with its good contrast/colors and its wider viewing angles. And keep in mind that getting a good display isn't so much about how good of a display you can get, it's more about avoiding some of the displays out there that are pretty bad (like the ones in the two laptops you're starting out by looking at)

Also, in case this comes up in your process of consideration: A display like this is indeed better than the larger display offered in the MSI GP70. While it's physically smaller, its larger resolution means you'll still be able to fit more onscreen, and it's of course significantly better in terms of picture quality due to contrast/colors, and it has notably better viewing angles.

Want some more options? Take a look at these. All have similar or better GPUs (the thing that affects game performance), as well as decent displays at the same time.

Yahoo Answers isn't very well setup for the discussion-based nature of laptop requirements clarification and recommendation, and you're also going to run into a lot of bad advice here.
