Sharp rise in blood pressure and fear after smoking cigarette?

Sharp rise in blood pressure and fear after smoking cigarette?

Even if i inhale the smoke just once or even just take puff , it causes fear, high blood pressure and anxiety after few minutes. And it remains like this for the whole day.

So my question is whats causing these effects?

I am not regular smoker, just smoke once or twice a week and facing these problems. Kindly reply

Just about ever abnormal lifestyle will do that. Even being angry too often will do that. Smoking affects the lungs, and oxygen affects the bloodstream. Imagine that a lack of it will affect your heartrate. Anything that affects heartrate will affect your bloodpressure. This isn't a technical explanation, but I'm trying to illustrate that although it doesn't seem to, it will increase your blood pressure. I've smoked before, but I've only smoked about 8 cigarettes in my whole life. I smoked five on New Year's Eve, and 3 on another non-occasion. The more I smoked, the sicker of it I got until it got to the point where I couldn't even stand the smell of it. For some reason, I've only done it like a few times here or there, the way it was meant to be. Some smoke 5 packs a day! Basically, that's like walking around with the Grim Reaper following you anywhere you go.
