What to pack for a trip to NYC next November?
Next november the marching band(which I am in) at my school is going to New York to march in the Veterans Day parade. I went to New York once but that was eight yeast ago and over the summer so I don't remember what the weather is like. We will be staying for five days and four nights. We will be doing a lot of casual things like go to the Empire State Building, Ellis island and walking around Times Square etc. with the exception of seeing a broadway play and a dinner dance on a boat. Please give me a detailed list of everything I should pack for this trip. Thanks:)

I just got from New York. The weather can be anywhere from 30-50 degrees. All you really need is jackets and your normal type of jeans. Gloves also might be wise to bring with you if you like to keep your hands warm. I also went with a school for my Government/Economics class. Some people wore one jacket and some jeans. The females usually wore a scarf, beanie, jacket with another coat over it, and some jeans with high socks. You will be walking a lot! Bring shoes you are comfortable walking in!

It will probably be cold. It definitely will be cold if you're going to be spending a lot of time out of doors. Dress for winter.
