Why is getting homwork information on the site not banned?
I recently got given a vio for telling someone they should do their own homework assignments and not come on C.E. to get others to do it for them surely this is cheating their school education .
The site clearly states news and events so why is this allowed surely it up to the individual to do their own homework and not expect others to do it for them .
I agree with you severn its a form of cheating yet rather than acknowledging that it is cheating Yahoo seems to condone yet issues vio's for the most puerile reasons should you transgress their rules .
However the sections that these questions are being asked on are not news or events yet are allowed which makes no sense at all.

Lol I notice one has also been known to suggest Google.........as one does!
The laugh is if anyone does seriously answer it they google it anyway.... ;)))

It is a question and answer forum so people are allowed to ask questions to gain knowledge, for whatever reason.
However I agree that posting pure homework questions expecting others to do all the work for you, is not right but not against the rules.
I'd rather see someone gain the necessary knowledge then bring that all together themselves.

There is a category called Homework Help actually so the only thing they did wrong is post it in CE.
