spending money for 2 week family holiday turkey?
Hello
I'm going to Dalaman, Turkey for 2 weeks this July with my husband and our 2 children (2 and 4 year old) and was wondering how much spending money to take roughly. We're going self-catering to try and save money and will be eating most meals at the villa and probably eat out just in the evenings. We will be drinking but not much and will be doing day trips etc. Dont want to spend a fortune but dont want to worry about money while we're there either. Any advice would be great! Thank you

If you're from the UK, you will find that most things cost pretty much the same in Turkey as they do back home. In terms of grocery shopping the main differences are that fruit and vegetables are cheaper, while alcohol is more expensive. So whatever you would budget for a 2-week S/C holiday in the UK, you should allow the same, plus a bit of extra 'walking around money'.
Up to about 10-15 years ago Turkey was a cheap country (compared to the UK, at least) but alas no more. :-(

I think you are looking at around 5000$, not including flights. Give or take. Somewhere around there considering that you're 4 people.
