Hi :)
African cichlid tank?
Nice fish and nice tank :)
Your PH must be pretty acidic not alkaline if you have those fish huh? I have a south American Oscar Cichlid and the PH is at 7.2ppm.
Depending on your light and water current. The easiest is just what Aaron said Java moss, but it is not the cheapest. You can have Java moss, Christmas moss (my favorite), Twain moss, or get some riccia flutants (if you have CO2 injection). http://www.practicalfishkeeping.co.uk/content.php?...

Java moss is probably going to be the easiest to find (not to mention cheapest). Apparently you'll also need one that's relatively inedible and will tolerate alkaline pH and a little salt in the water as well, if that's the tank it's going into - Java moss fits all these as well, and it doesn't require high light or CO2. It's growth is normally slow, and may be just a bit slower in your tank because your water would be expected to be harder/more alkaline.

Java Moss is pretty fly. Looks nice and is eaaaassyyy.
I've had good look with moss attaching itself to basalt. I believe the porous surface helps it attach.
