personal problem with her Ex?

Okay, I admit I have a personal problem here. But the situation is extreme.

Here's the thing, my 42yo girl friend whom I'm engaged too still talks with her Ex. Now he does live some 100 miles away that's true but the cell phone age negates distance I think and does make a medium for a great deal of privacy.

In this special case she shares a rather expensive truck with him, in that I mean she provided the co sign so that he may get it and make payments on it.

That said further, most of his mail does come here, except for the creature comfort bills of course (electricity and water rent of course).

I've seen her cell phone, they converse rather energetically and always close with love you. As a friend I'm sure... right ?

Am I being over emotional ?

They are ex's for a reason and your fiancee needs to realize this. Did you know it was like this before you became engaged?

If his mail is coming to the place she lives and his truck is partially in her name, I don't know. If he's a long haul driver he could very well still be married to her. That's something I'd investigate. People don't usually tell their exes they love them. I think they are still married and that he works out of town.

Something is not right here. All communication should be in the open, and financial ties with others should be cut before entering marriage or engagement.

This is not cool. You should prepare to have a hard conversation with her. Be prepared to not like what she says. It's not cool for her to have such long conversations with him, unless they are co-parents. It's ok that she signed for the truck, as long as it was when they were together. HOWEVER, all that is beans compared to closing with "I love you"! THAT'S NOT GOOD.

This belongs in Singles & DATING...

Speak with her about her relationship with her ex...one would assume if she wanted to be with him, she would be...

The closing "love you" would irk me. You should say something to her about it.
