Does jesus hate me if i masterbate?

Jesus loves you and does not care if you masturbate. Here is a long answer I wrote for someone else: I am a Christian and I masturbate. I will copy here an answer I gave earlier to a girl who was worried about her lust and need to masturbate. I hope it is helpful for you also:

Every person has some weakness, some sin that is the hardest to resist. for many people it is sexual sins and lust. but for some it is pride or wanting material thiings.

God designed your body including the sexual parts and sexual urgres. so having that desire is not sinful. the sin comes with spending a long time dwelling on sexual fantasies instead of doing the things that God wants you to do. You should understnd that there is disagreement among the Christian chruches about whether masturbation is a sin. Some think that it is and some think that it is not. As I mentioned on your earlier post, I think masturbation is OK. I also have a high sex drive and have worried over this issue for years and studied the Bible about it.

lets review a couple of facts.

1. the bible is translated from ancient languages. some words do not have an exact equivalent in todays language. Nowhere in the Bible does it specifically say that masturbation is a sin, even thoough it is almost universal among males. What the Bible talks about is "sexual immorality" and then it is a HUMAN INTERPRETATION that decides whether masturbation is a part of that.

2. in the old testament, there are all kinds of very explicit rules about sex. these get VERY detailed. things like : do not have sex with your sister, do not have sex ith your mother, do not have sex with an animal. if they take to the time to list these, which should be common sense, then surely they would have listed masturbatin too if it was forbidden. but it is not listed anywhere in there!

3. I want to remind you that when Jesus came to earth he was "fully human" and that means he felt the sex urges just like we do. So He understands and will forgive your weakness in this area

Here is my story. I became a Christan in my early 20's. So I had seen the pics and been masturbating for years. now I faced a decsion: do I stop this? Here is what I learned. If I stop completely, the urges got so strong it just overwhelmed everything else. It was hard to pray, it was hard to sense God's will for me, it was hard to focus on my job. but if I took the few minutes to masturbate, then I could focus the rest of the day on being a good Christian. so I soon decided it was better to be a good person most of the time than to stumble along all day in the fog of being super horny.

4. God designed your body to give pleasure. see Song of Solomon. Masturbation is having this pleasure alone instead of with a partner. it is ok to allow your body to function as it was designed to function.

5. to the extent you are able, resist the porn. you should try to "walk the line" by allowing masturbation but holding back from the inpure thoughts and fantasies. Do I myself fail at this? yep, sometimes, but God is pleasd when you try to honor Him by keeping pure thoughts. and He forgives when you mess up.
