    Is it an English speaking soup?

    If it is then we both know it's been boiled to death -- like all English cuisine.

    If it's not an English soup then for all you know it might be able to talk, but it has simply realized there's no point trying to learn the language when it's only going to be boiled to death in the next few minutes.
