Where is the DANG spell checker in this new YA?
When I answer a question, the old YA automatically showed if you had a misspelling and you could EASILY do a spell check. Where is it in this new CRAPPY YA??
I used to use the old version by going to Canada YA but they changed it yesterday. I havent checked today but I assume sooner or later it will also be the CRAPPY version. Ill try what you said though.

In Internet Explorer, go to "Tools" / "Compatability" and add yahoo.com to the list. Now go to the Canadian YA (ca.answers.yahoo.com) and walah! the good ol' green version with spell check is back. :D

People whined, bwitched, and complained so much about the old spellchecker that the staff basically said, if you don't like it, we will take it out. So they dumped it. It was a really bad spellchecker and they realized it. Most browsers have their own spellcheckers and there are several free ones on the web you can add to older browsers.
