Why do YOU love anime?

The reason I love anime is because I'm a fan of animation in general. I love cartoons and comics from around the world. I live in America so I'm used to American animations so it's way I'm used too. So when I discovered anime I fell in love with how different it was from American animation . It's just so different than what I'm used to . I like it's differences from american animation. I love everything about it flaws and all. It's just like a part of me

I had watched many animes as a child (Sailor Moon, Any Ghibli Movie, Pokemon, you know the drill), but I didn't know it as "anime".So when I was old enough to get on internet . I heard of this art form "anime" . I was excited and way younger at time so I when and watched a bunch of what people were calling calling anime. (then I realized I had already watched some when I was younger) . So that was the start of my new found obession

I prefer subbed because I find dubs don't always have as good enough voice actors. I'm not a dub hater tho . I infact, prefer cowboy bebop's dub to it's sub.

Personally, anime is just part of my life. It's heavily influenced who I am today. My ideals, philosophies, views on life, ways of thinking and other such things were helped shaped by it. Anime isn't just simple cartoons like western shows tend to be. It goes much deeper and can run you through a roller coaster of emotions. Plus it's just really entertaining to watch. =]

I started it..well technically since I was a kid, of course I didn't know it was called anime back then. I was watching things like Yu-gi-oh, Sailor Moon, DBZ, Yu Yu Hakusho, etc on tv. Once I learned more about it then that sealed my fate.

I'm a total subbed person, the original Japanese voices are just infinitely better to me than most English ones. There are some exceptions where I prefer the dubbed though, but 90% of the time I like subs more. Not saying all dubs are bad, just not my preference is all.

Anime is like a part of me, I wouldn't be who I am if it wasn't for anime, the crazyness, the coolness, the epicness, the cuteness, the amazingness anime has is out of this world, no movie or series can ever replace anime, neither can books (and I love books) anime is like living a new life with no limits in each show you watch, it's great to see characters grow and mature, and watch everything just in general, gotta love the fan service (blush blush) and I love too see how anime couples get together, it's just something that can't be replaced, that epic feeling of when your spine shivers and goes numb during an epic fights, the cuuute love between the characters and the character that never gives up no matter what!

Why do I love anime? because it makes me smile.

I love watching it subbed so that I may experience anime in its original format, though there are some good dubs such as Ouran High School Host Club and Cowboy Bebop. I got into anime because one of my martial arts instructors came from Japan and her son was tired of his old Naruto items so she gave them to me.

I love anime because it follows a plot line. It tells a story. You get attached to the characters and they almost seem real to you. I can laugh with Naruto, cry with Otanashi, and be stupid with Tamaki Suoh. Anime is like an escape from reality for a while, it's refreshing. I also love it because it gives a moral and message rather than just mindless entertainment. Anime is an amazing thing and I will always love it :)

I started watching anime because I got interested in some of the anime series that aired on TV.

Both.Depends on the anime whether its better in subs or dubs.

It was the awesome action and fights that drawed me in at first. When I was a kid I liked to watch cartoons (like all kids), but when I saw anime, well, that was on a whole different level. The story was surprisingly interesting and deep for a cartoon. The fights were non-stop epic (this is the type of stuff you can do with live actors). The characters were also very interesting and most had interesting or tragic backstories of their own. It just really sucked me in and I loved it. I haven't stopped watching since.

I Started watching anime when I was four I saw Pokemon on can I was naturally attached to it and started watching it later I saw the miazaki movies on Disney channel and after that Instarted watching dbz Kai and naruto on cn

I loved it and since I was raised by dubs I naturally liked dubs more the. Subs and that's why I like anime

Anime? That's a hard one... I always have looked up to my brothers, I ised to copy everything they did. When I saw my brother watching some epic fighting anime (bleach) I just fell in love. My brother and I now pull all nighters almost every weekend to watch anime which makes me like it even more!

Simple really, it has pretty neat animation, well-developed characters most of the time, interesting complicated plots, and the effort and thought put into the anime is just there. Plus there is so much anime out there therefore you can enjoy any genre
