How to wean my daughter from her pacifier?

Pacifiers are bad for a toddler's teeth. If your daughter is older than a year-and-a-half, it's time for her to stop using her pacifier. I suggest you simply throw it away. Gradually weaning a toddler from a pacifier doesn't work too well, and it still encourages the toddler to use it.

If she sucks her pacifier during naptime and bedtime, you'll have to get her used to a new routine. You can get her a cool new soft toy to snuggle with. Maybe gently rock her to sleep, or play quiet, gentle music for her. Soon, she'll forget she ever had a pacifier! I hope this helps!

Gradually. First none during the day. Then none at naps. Then none at bedtime. Let her fuss a little.

Let her pick out a nap/bedtime cuddle toy in place of the paci.

Give it to her either nap or bedtime then once she's fully asleep take it away hide it, then try nap time of she's fussy for awhile give it to her, don't just take it away. It helps them sleep & suck. By 3 years old they should be taken away for good.

Don't buy her a new one. Let her suck on the one she has until it disintegrates. My son was unwilling to give his up so instead of taking it away from him we just let him use it until it was so fat, soggy and disgusting that he got sick of it.

Find something for her to do so her mind is off it.
