Will a PS3 recognize a USB 3.0 Flash Drive?

I know it wont transfer at 3.0 speeds. I'm just wondering whether it will at 2.0 or not recognize it at all.

No, actually. This has been proven time and time again by others who have tried it. The problem with USB 3.0 is that it has a higher power rating than USB 2.0 and the PS3 isn't powerful enough to run it. The only possible way it *may* work is if you used a dual Y USB adapter or it had an external power source. Otherwise it won't work at all.

Yup... a USB 3.0 drive is backward compatible, it will work at 2.0.
