Help! How do I make this ringworm stop spreading?
I started noticing little rings of dry skin in my inner thigh a couple weeks ago. At first I didn't think anything of it but they soon started getting worse and spreading. I started treating it with Clotrimazole when I found out what it was but after a few days it was only getting worse. It's spread to very....uncomfortable places that keep me from using vinegar like everyone suggests. I'm not sure what to do. The cream isn't doing anything and I've tried going to a tanning bed (supposedly UV rays help kill it) but still no change. Now there are far to many places that it's spread to for me to cover all of it with cream or any other treatment that I can't bath in or take orally.
It's at its worst around my inner thighs and it's spread all around that area. It's now showing up in small amounts on my lower back, arms, hands, and legs. I don't know what to do! Please help. I can't afford a doctor because I don't have insurance, and the volunteer clinic can't see me until the end of the month. Please tell me how to stop, or at the very least, slow this thing down.

Hello. Okay, I am currently recovering from ringworm. Although I had a light case it did spread to other areas of my body. I too began to see little patches appearing on sensitive areas of my body which really sucked because it was a major "stop sign" in the bedroom with my spouse! It has been the most unpleasant experience, not to mention "terrifying" after seeing horrific images online of worst case scenarios. I tried 2 antifungal creams but they still did not cure the ringworm. I researched online for home remedies, creams and even prescriptions. However, many things did not work for many people and I really wanted quick results and most of all, to be cured! I took a chance and tried this remedy. I don't regret it! I have seen dramatic results. I hope it works for you.
Kelp tablets and Thuja cream.
Iodine is known to treat ringworm topically and Kelp tablets are very high in iodine. It is my opinion that taking these tablets are a way of treating the infection from the inside. They can be found at GNC or health food stores and they are NOT expensive. I take (4) 150mcg pills with breakfast and then again with dinner. In conjunction with taking Kelp tablets, you should also use a topical cream called Thuja cream. I had a VERY hard time finding this cream in any of my local health stores so I had to order it online. I am a little embarrassed because the Thuja cream that I purchased is actually meant to treat horses! Yet, I was despret and I have not had any issues using it topically. It does have a odor that smells like pine-sol though. Again, I have seen dramatic results within a few days of taking the Kelp tablets AND using the Thuja cream. After the infection goes away I recommend that you continue to take a few Kelp tablets daily to keep the ringworm away. Don't hesitate. Really, try this remedy.
I also bathed daily with Head and Shoulders shampoo (from head to toes) and also did a rub down with baking soda in the shower.
Hope this helps!

Tee tree oil helped with my ring warm spot on my leg. I tried everything ever. Prescription po and cream, which helped a little. Tee tree and a source of iodine, kelp pill are great💪🏽 this is def something that effects you emotionally along with the physical. Dry climates are de key. My dog has a fungal infection and my partner pet his ears the later that night rubbed my mid section and ring warm popes up all over y stomachs d back. Beware of your pets, they could be giving this to you, which stinks cause that means they have it too!!:/

Anti-fungal cream is still your best bet. Follow the directions exactly. In a pinch, toothpaste also has anti-fungal properties.
