As long as there are imperfect men, any thing but the ORIGINAL MANUSCRIPT would be imperfect.

And since no one has access to the original manuscripts, we rely on the best copies of those manuscripts to help us to do the best we can. That goes for ANY TRANSLATION.

Some Bible scholars are better than others. Some have better knowledge and training - and believe it or not, some have better motivation.

So there will be small differences among the translations.

But the main truths of God's word are in ALL Bibles.

Even the King James. That is the Bible I had when I became one of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Feel free to go out on JW.ORG to learn more.

In all honesty, no, or a better answer is probably not.

To the question which is the most accurate bible translation available today one would have to answer The NWT.

Though the KJV was the most accurate translation in 1611, it can not make that claim today.

Today scholars know that there are some 20,000 know errors in the KJV.

Even with knowing this, if my only two choices were the KJV or the NIV, I would chose the KJV.

Thankfully Jehovah has provided us the means to honestly appraise all bibles and in such an honest search one would again find the NWT to be the most error free.

Dr. Jason BeDuhn states that most of the differences found between the NWT and the other translations is not due to bias or error but is due to being more accurate.

This is really a red herring of a question. There is not way to make such a claim about ANY bible, ans translation is an ongoing art, that is subject to interpretation.

The KJV is certainly not "error free" is it? In fact nothing human being do, related tot he word of God or not, are "error free". I'm not 100% certain what the point of the question is. Is there a specific issue with the rNWT you wanted to discuss?

The Bible says: "The Letter killeth but the Spirit gave it life." The Bible is full of errors but it is a good start if you want to know more about God. We must relearn how to listen to the Light within. He is the perfect teacher. The Bible speaks about Him.

From the very beginning, the NWT was purposely produced to support the JWs unique doctrines.

The RNWT is no different, they even found a way of inserting the term 'governing body ' by having it in the summary of the book of Acts.

They also removed all the brackets in the previous editions that indicated the words they had added in scriptures such as Colossians 1

There will never be a 100% perfect bible I don't think, not untill after Armageddon but it is the most accurate to date.

The New World Translations of Holy Scriptures was compared with the original "Dead Sea Scrolls" found in a cave in Egypt; along with all of the other mainstream bibles and the New World Translation was found to be the most accurate out of all the bibles used in the comparison!

No I ams sure that it is not, but it has been recognized by secular scholars as the most accurate translation, although maybe not the easiest to read.

It doesn't matter if it was written by God in his own hand....you would be too blind to see.....

.It is interesting though....the Witnesses will study with you from your bible (curiously called a "version") if you like...
