Cheap amplifier/mixer for turntable?
I have a Technics turntable and want to use these speakers with it.

But what amplifier or mixer can I buy to use them with? I already have a couple banana cables for each speaker. Thanks in advance.

See my other answer on this question. I'd snag up an Sherwood RX-4109 while you can at the $99 price as the price is heading back up. This has been a promotional price that is fading away.

you need to select an amp that has a phono input capability. just having a aux input is not enough for a turntable. a phono input means: 1 it has a preamp to lift the microvolts from the pickup cartridge to normal line levels, 2. it presents a 47 kohm impedance to properly load the cartridge to get specified frequency response range, and 3 it generates the RIAA equalization required to eliminate noise from the LP surface. If you get a DJ mixer, it generally comes with phono inputs, but not all receivers are so equipped. another factor is to be sure and use a 39 inch (1 meter) cable from the turntable to the phono input, this is required to have the proper capacitance.
