Generally you can eat whatever you want after removing your gall bladder. Generally the function of the gell bladder is to hold and store bile which is released into your digestive system after a fatty meal. However, once removed now the bile is just released directly into the digestive system. Now after your surgery you will notice that after a large fatty meal you will get diarrhea. Usually the only side effect after gall bladder surgery is that after a large meal you will get diarrhea. Other than that everything is normal. You should note that some people get no side effect after removing their gall bladder so it depends on the person too.

You can start with food that digests easily, and slowly reintroduce the food that used to trigger the pain attacks. However, please refrain from eating fatty/fast food, because it will increase the risk of getting gallstones inside your bileducts (bileducts have been left untouched anyway because you need them).
