What drives most theistic people to question abiogenesis?

It is technically how God is explained.

Also, challenging a theory without any expertise in that field merits the same response as Kimbo Dlice thinking he could compete with real MMA fighters. No matter how enthusiastic you may feel, you lack the technical knowledge to do so.

I have a generalized knowledge of abiogenesis, and while I do not agree with it full, I know better than to challenge it armed with nothing more than blanket statements and generalized knowledge.

Just wonder, why?

Update:

You can call a theory a belief if that helps you, but it is a theory and not a belief.

Man living with T-Rex is a belief, there is no science behind it.

Update 2:

Man living with T-Rex is a belief, there is no science behind it.

Hello, Sam. I am not familiar with the word "abiogenesis" but by breaking down the word i am assuming that it means "without beginning with life or biology", in other words meaning "created by God and not evolution/etc."

. Not all Christians believe in Creationism; some don't believe in it at all and believe that the Biblical account of Creation is symbolic of evolution ... others believe that God used evolution to make His creation ... while others do indeed in the literal Biblical account of God miraculously making Creation.

Just speaking for myself, there are enough unanswered questions that makes me tend to believe that God miraculously created Creation. For example, we STILL don't know exactly what "spark" started the Big Bang Theory or the spark that started life in the first single cell organism or the spark that begins the developement of an embrio (plant or animal) or the changes that happened to change one species to become another as would be necesssary with macro-evolution.

    .

If you are interested in following up on your question, Lee Strobel has a book called "A Case for Crieation" that you might be interested in reading. He also has a website. The reason that i recommend Mr. Strobel to people is because he had been an atheist investigative reporter; he became a Christian when he started researching Jesus Christ to prove that Christianity was a lie, but only succeeded in proving that He and it was true ... and, thus, accepted Jesus Christ's forgiveness and became a Christian himself. But he is STILL logical and detail oriented, which is what makes his books more unique than most of the Christian books that i've read.

    .

I hope that helps to answer your question, Sam.

You have a great day :-)

    Revelation 13:15 (KJV)

And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.

Abiogenesis is the theory that life arose by natural processes as oppossed to intelligent design which is the theory that life was intentionally designed.

Scientists dumbstruck: signs of intelligent design in DNA code

Bio-scientists are reeling at the implications of new research published in the prestigious planetary science journal Icarus, which indicates the DNA code of all life on earth contains a pattern that indicates deliberate design.

When scientists do create life the experiment will either be by producing it through intelligent means, i.e. synthesized DNA or by recreating an environment in which it can occur naturally without the aid of intelligence, i.e. in a biosphere condition where it occurs naturally.

DNA Is Blueprint, Contractor And Construction Worker For New Structures

DNA is the blueprint of all life, giving instruction and function to organisms ranging from simple one-celled bacteria to complex human beings. Now researchers have used DNA as the blueprint, contractor and construction worker to build a 3-D structure out of gold, a lifeless material. Using just one kind of nanoparticle the researchers built two very different crystalline structures by changing one thing -- the strands of synthesized DNA attached to the tiny gold spheres

"It took scientists decades of work to learn how to synthesize DNA," said Mirkin. "Now we've learned how to use the synthesized form outside the body to arrange lifeless matter into things that are useful, which is really quite spectacular."

I can't speak for all theists, but I question everything at first. I'd never blindly assume something is true just because someone says it is, no matter what or how many degrees they have

Because it proves evolution, and that humans originated from primates. The thing about many religions is they set humans apart as something super special that is superior to all other animals.

if it could happen in nature once it should happen easily
