Could a person live like this?
Hi, I live in the UK and visited Barcelona for a week in the summer, I loved it there, not the attractions or the sights, just the city and people and weather. I'm a pretty odd person and have always hated the idea of living a normal life where you pass exams, get a job, move out, pay bills, work till you retire etc, that sounds like a pretty boring, difficult life. In Barcelona, there were lots of homeless people and I was thinking, Would it be possible to go there again, with just a guitar and a backpack, and just be homeless there. It's always warm, people perform in the streets everywhere, You could just sit somewhere and start playing your guitar, get enough change to buy a burger or something, get one, go somewhere else and do it again. Its full of tourists, you could just sleep hidden somewhere, come out each day in the lovely weather, busk yourself enough money for a days food and live on the beach with no care in the world? Sounds better than the uk :/

You remind me of a 20 something hippie type that was playing a guitar (badly) and singing the only line in a song over and over again at a gas station where I stopped.He had $3 in his hat on the ground. I wonder if that waste of a life noticed the Veteran in a wheel chair pumping his own gas and going about his business without begging from strangers. When I went inside to pay for my gas the cashier was a guy with a cane with horrific skin lesions on the entire left side of his body. His left wrist was locked and useless as was his left ankle. These 2 men were doing their best in life and asked nothing but a chance to work and be productive members of society. The deadbeats I pass on the street with 18 packs under their arm are simply that. People whose lives amount to nothing. There is no application fee or work requirements to being a deadbeat so go do your thing. Just remember there are people in horrific situations who are trying to not be like you.

See a psychiatrist! I hate normality too, but we just have to live with it. You can go to Spain and live normality there, but choosing homelessness because of a lazy mentality is insane?

I agree about "The dream" being absolute bullshit but this? In my opinion, this is stupid. Do something else!
