Where can I write/post vids/pics online for free?
I want to write something like a blog but "blog" might not be the right term. What I seek is a place that is free and allows me to embed my videos and pictures into the relevant text.
Tumblr was suggested to me but this is microblogging and ideally, I want somewhere where you can write a long piece that just happens to be accompanied by pictures and videos.
Does such a place exist?
(Ideally, somewhere with good traffic!)

Wordpress sounds like what you want. It allows you to do everything you asked about and is extremely popular.

Also Wordpress.com is a good place to start. It uses the full power of the Wordpress blogging platform, you can write as much content as you like and also have the ability to add video & images. It's good for Google too so if you write quality content it will send you traffic.
