Is this a good idea for short film?
A basic premise: 3 friends, longing for a break, leave their ordinary lives and escape to a desolate forest by a river and camp out. When they wake up the next morning, their possessions are gone and there is the imminent threat of wild fires.
Need honest, constructive criticism.

Nice - you could shorten it up by opening with them camping - and then a few comments could catch the viewer up about why they're there in the first place. I wouldn't move from their home in the suburb to the forest primeval - it would eat up too much film.
