Do any gun makers still make 10-gauge shotguns?

I recall that these had a brief surge in popularity after steel shot became mandatory for waterfowl hunting. Are they still available?

Yes Browning and maybe a few others did. Even though we have 3 1/2 inch 12ga shells now, the10ga is technically ballisticley superior to the 12 because it has a shorter shot column. And people who have shot them say they pattern better and have LESS recoil than a 12.

I remember seeing a H&R single-shot 10-gauge once. It looked almost like an old M-79 grenade launcher compared to a 12-gauge.

There are a few still being made but they are not popular guns. They have a lot of kick and the ammo is very expensive. Plus not all gun stores carry the ammo.
