Why do some guys refuse to confess they're gay?
As a guy, sometimes you're friends with a guy that sets your gadar off big-time ... the way they dress, take care of their appearance, things they comment on, the way they touch you when they talk, sit real close and lean against you, buy you valentines presents, tell you you're the best thing that ever happened to them, give the longest longest longest hugs, tell you that you smell good ... etc etc.
So, when you tell them you're bi, and yet they refuse to say that they're anything but straight, why is that? I mean, it's sometimes so obvious, but why don't they at least admit it to you, knowing you'll never tell a soul. If they already trust you implicitly, why won't they say they are?

Maybe because they are indeed straight and you are misinterpreting their affectionate nature as a sign of homosexuality. Or, they simply have not yet reached the point of coming out.
Considering that sexuality is an invisible trait, unless you can read their minds you cannot tell someone else's sexuality with any accuracy. Your only lead has been stereotypical behavior and that which you interpret as a sign of interest/affection/desire. So regardless of whether or not they are gay, if their answer is "no", then "no" is what you're going to have to go with unless/until they tell you otherwise.

Because they either don't want to admit it, or they're just feminine straight guys.
