For your edification, Michael Sam, one of the football players, came out as gay. When the ******** from Westboro Baptist showed up to protest, the student body blocked them from campus. Then Sam received an ovation at a basketball game.

It may be a surprise to you, but Churchill started out as a conservative and then became a Liberal, it was only when he was in his fifties that he returned to the conservative party and because he had fall outs with the liberal leadership!!!

Also once again Liberals in Britain in the nineteen forties are of virtually no resemblance to Liberals in the US today.

This quote and his attacks on liberals are dodgy at best, His beloved wife Clementine was a life long liberal , Churchill worshiped the ground she walked on and would have never directed an insult like this at her!!!

Read one of Churchill's biographies and find out just how his politics resemble American conservatism.....very very little I can tell you!

I think the only people who "grow" into being Republicans are just Libertarians who stop smoking pot and start admitting they were always just Republicans who liked drugs.

I used to vote for Democrats every now and then- most recently, Hillary Clinton in 2008. NEVER AGAIN, after seeing how crazy they went in 2009-2011 when there was single-party Democratic control of the executive and legislative branches of the Federal government, and seeing how anti-mainstream American Obama and Eric Holder in particular are.

Democrats and Republicans seem to mean nothing anyway. Obama just says he will do what he wants no matter what so not needed anymore, right????

I was a Democrat until Clinton. I was independent until Obama, now with such a change in the views of the party, I can't see myself ever voting Democrat again. I always voted my pay check and didn't worry out the other views, but now the views are so far left, and they are screwing the middle class.
