Do you think these people really believe in man made global warming?

Why do some of the most vocal CAGW alarmists have the biggest carbon footprints?
@Climate"Realist"..."John Kerry is a politician, not a scientist"
So??????
Two thumbs up so far from your fellow brainwashed alarmists for that statement. Wow!
antarcticice..."Is this really the extent of denier thought "if (insert name here) thinks AGW is happening why would he fly", we have currently no other way to get from point a to point b other than to fly"
There is this cool new thing called the telephone. There is this cool new thing called video conference. There are ways to get around travelling needless all over the world especially if you think CO2 is going to cause the destruction of mankind. Kerry is about as worried as CAGW as I am... not at all.
@Climate"Realist"... You get thumbs down because your statement has NO relevance whatsoever. John Kerry is a politician who has been speaking out on man made climate change yet his carbon footprint is HUGE.
Intelligent people know your statement is completely irrelevant and give you thumbs down. Your brain washed sheep friends give you thumbs up because they have no critical thinking skills whatsoever.

Kerry doesn't believe in man-made Global Warming, Al Gore doesn't either. This is just supporting the Commie party line for them, it's what they do. They think they are above the rest of us and deserve to live a privileged life, while the rest of us serfs work and pay taxes to support them and their glorious lifestyles.
They have convinced themselves that they are doing us a favor by making us into slaves. That is how they have convinced themselves that it's OK to lie about it --- because they are only trying to help us.

Peoples' actions do not always reflect their beliefs as well as they probably should. I believe and accept AGW, but I drive my car to work even though I could take the bus instead, because it would take at least twice as long, and I'm generally late enough as it is.
Actual human presence has some inherent value, and can't be entirely replicated by teleconferencing and the like. For example, you can't shake hands over a teleconnection. There's a layer of... artificiality to someone who is only present through the TV that isn't there if someone's present in the flesh. This can impede communication. You're right that we can and should make more use of virtual conferences and such, but there is no perfect or even near-perfect substitute (at least, not yet) for actual, in-person interaction.

For information:
"... 12.16 metric tons of carbon dioxide. That is based upon a single first class ticket on a commercial airliner and is almost two thirds the annual figure for a typical American of approximately 19 tons per year.
Of course John Kerry doesn’t fly first class commercial. He flew on a private, taxpayer-provided American jet liner."

These seem common points from denier right-wing sources, now of course Kerry is not a private citizen, he is the secretary of state of the U.S. he needs to make many overseas trips on many varying fields not just AGW, yet here deniers try to use the CO2 output of the entire plane and put it all on Kerry. Such trips cover many topics trade, military, goodwill. Of course given the current world situation for fairly obvious reasons he can't travel on a public airline, as while I'm sure terrorists groups would love it if he did, as they would if it were his Republican opposite (if they ever win another election) that is simply not going to happen.
Given any such trip would have advisers, press, security, other delegations to cover multiple other topics and the obvious military group that accompany any of top 5 U.S. Government leaders everywhere (in case of major disaster) he is in fact 4th in line of succession to the Presidency. Perhaps deniers think he should travel in economy as a tourist, seriously?
Is this really the extent of denier thought "if (insert name here) thinks AGW is happening why would he fly", we have currently no other way to get from point a to point b other than to fly, you could spend a couple of weeks of a ship, but then of course denier would claim politicians are wasting taxpayers time on long trips.
Among many issues covered so far, on ways to reduce our carbon foot print, are new types of fuels with either lower Co2 emissions or from renewable resources, specifically for jet aircraft, only a few years ago deniers where saying this could not be done. now a number of airlines have already flown test flights using such fuels.
Such denier comment is nonsensical, Kerry like the President has a job to do and that job sometimes means he has to fly, with all the implications that go with that due to his office.

The primary effect of global warming is to hurt the poor. making them live a more compressed lifestyle. That Kerry will continue to enjoy the lifestyle of the rich and famous is never to be challenged. As Leona Helmsley said,"(carbon)Taxes are for little people."

Because they know it is a hoax. They merely want your money and take away any liberties you may have.
Quote by Christine Stewart, former Canadian Environment Minister: “No matter if the science is all phoney, there are collateral environmental benefits.... climate change [provides] the greatest chance to bring about justice and equality in the world.”
It is obvious that they don't have the best interests of the masses at heart. Dominate! Dominate! Dominate! That is all they know.

It is not hypocrisy, it is just business. They are making money. Not unlike strip mining, that they probably disdain, they have to do something objectionable to get to their objective. Their objective just isn't what they are preaching. It is a larger bank account, whatever the means.

We've eliminated all other possible causes for the accelerated warming in this current interglacial period. The only explanation remaining is human activity.
