Why would you want the Ukraine in the EU or the UK?

Question

Anyone else think on the day the Ukraine manage to force their way into the EU after using violence and murder. We will see a mass exodus of their people to the UK with nothing more than blood on their hands.

So should we be refusing their entry into the UK on the grounds their inability to except their lawful and democratic governments decision to stay out of the EU. Are not grounds to commit violence, murder and down right terrorist actions in order to gain access into the EU club.

This is simply a civil cold war between the west and russia. If the ukraine gains entry to the EU it will lessen the power of Putins Russia.

I think the outcome will be government success due to the trade links and heavy industry in the east and money promised by Russia. Failing that should the situation deteriorate further then Russia will invade the Ukraine just like it did in Georgia and the west will be unable to do anything serious about it.

I donÂ´t want any eastern european country to join the EU in the next 20+ years.
I was even against the last enlargement.
(Because all it did was creating even MORE problems for the "old"
member states)

With the amount of corruption in the Ukraine, you probably don't want them in the EU but I see no problem with establishing trade relations with the Ukraine
