No, it heals. It goes away on its own.
However, if it is infected, it will fester and get larger.
So, apply an antibacterial like tea tree essential oil (just a dab) and don't pop or touch it.

If you keep trying to pop a pimple it will get really red and irritated so I suggest to leave it alone till it goes away, usually when I have pimples I leave them alone and wash my face.
