What's up with this virgo?

I am losing my mind over this virgo man. I'm about ready to call it quits. I'm a capricorn by the way.

He and I have been friends for over a yr now. We took a very long time to get close to each other and just started having a sexual relationship a while ago. Recently he told me he liked me and in turn, I let down my guard and told him that I liked him as well. But I swear ever since then he's been super distant. Valentines day, he sent me a funny joke about "is my name homework bcus I should be doing you." I laughed bcus we have that kind of relationship where I don't take things like that seriously. but now I'm starting to re-think that maybe he just sees me as a sex partner. I haven't heard from him in 5 days. he does this frequently, goes away for long periods of time and then reappears.

For someone who says they like me, his actions sure aren't matching up.

I just remember he and I being the best of friends, I would see him at least one or twice a week. Now I barely see or hear from him and I refuse to chase him. I feel so stupid for telling him how I feel.

Is this common with virgos? Should I just give up and move on?
