Should Hospitals like Boston Childrens Hospital be allowed to kidnap kids?

Just wondering as this is what seems to be happening.

http://www.nydailynews.com/news/national/parents-a...

Update:

@Sans

For over a year?

maybe you need to be locked up!

Update 2:

@ libtard duck chit

Go watch MSNBC and duck your head in the sand.

It's more than just beck that is reporting this, skippy!

Update 3:

Yes the DCf has such stellar performance in Ma.

And the child needs to be let go.

She is in a Facility in Framingham that is NOT used for this treatment.

Ma. overstepping their boundaries again.

Expect a backlash.

I read the same articles as every one else and I'm horrified with what's going on. This child was doing well with previous treatments and is suffering greatly since they have decided she now had a mental instead of physical issue. So I think it's a night mare, out of control abuse situation.

Nope, but they should be allowed to lock up psych ward patients when their doctors have determined the kid has a mental disease until such time that the courts decide whether BCH or Tufts is right.

    EDIT: "For over a year"

Yup. You haven't demonstrated a reason as to why the medical opinion of the professionals at BCH is to be ignored just because you, a layperson, disagrees with their diagnosis. That's what the courts will decide: How proper the psych hold has been. Since you and I are not medical professionals, perhaps we should leave the judging to them instead of relying on biased news reporting that has an agenda of sensationalism.

I'm sorry, but after reading your the article you linked to, I still don't see where it says she was kidnapped.

Are you trying to exagerate what's happened to sway people to see things your way? If so you must not really believe your version of the events, because you feel the need to essentially lie about what happened instead of just pointing out facts.

She wasn't kidnapped, she was placed in a mental health facility for her own safety. You can argue about whether or not the diagnosis is correct (neither of us is a trained medical proffesional, so we can't answer that), and you can argue whether or not a parent should be able to medicate their child, or prevent any medical care from helping them at all.

What you can't do, is look at a legal action, that you know nothing about, and call it kidnapping because you don't like what's happening.

Turn OFF the Glenn Beck and grow yourself some Common sense...

(Then admit to yourself that presented with the evidence carefully-packaged in a different way, you'd be JUST as "outraged" if Boston Childrens' Hospital had discharged the little girl into her Mother's custody, and the Mother had gone on to kill her with her bizarre & dangerous ideas of what "home medical treatment" is...)

The Mother is a danger to that child, which is WHY the State have intervened...

Beck is a dangerous, ill-informed fool...

If you think Glenn Beck knows more about medicine that the Staff at Boston Childrens Hospital, then I trust that you won't be using "conventional medicine" to treat anything that ails you in the future? Perhaps if you are unfortunate enough to be in a traffic accident, Mr. Beck will "pray for your wounds to heal"? Let us know how that works out!

Looks like Boston Children's Hospital has established a pattern of this behavior...

    http://bostinno.streetwise.co/2012/10/12/elizabeth...

Does a corporation have greater rights over your children than you do?

Do you really have custody of your children, or does the "state" own everything and everyone?

Do you really want to be free, or is it easier to be cared for?

This Hospital has crossed the line and should not be in the parenting department. The should be held in contemp of court for kidnapping of parental consent and Medical malpractice for ignoring a previously diagnosed disease.
