We're friends above everything but I still love him?
Okay so this is guna be kinda long so I apologize in advance and I hope it makes sense.
So I dated this guy my freshman year for about a week, nothing serious, and we broke up easily and moved on.
Then, about 10 months ago, he added and msgd me on Facebook apologizing and askin if we could be friends. I thot it was so cool to hear from him and we started talking every day. we ended up becoming best friends. We had a real connection. (The girl he was dating: they hardly talked and had only been together for a couple weeks and she ended up breaking up w him, he wasn't too affected by it) but we started actually hanging out and our connection was stronger and we really started to like each other. We decided to start dating and we dated for 7 months. We recently broke up bc he thinks we need to grow up be4 we can hv a mature relationship. He doesn't like expectations either. But we still like each other(I like him more (love). How do I jst b his friend? :( plz help me figure this out

Most married couples today will tell you they married their best friends. Ask your parent if its true. If it worked for them, it'll probably work for you too. Also try this for fun. Ask around how many people date or hook up with their enemies or people that don't like them. This will help put things in perspective for you, regardless of "friendship zone" which I think is stupid. Even Google, doesn't know of anyone dating or marrying an enemy or hated one.
As for "Growing Up and Maturing" ask him how he thinks that's done, if you don't engage other people or become 50% of someone's picture. If he can't answer you, there are Billions of other guys that will treasure you. He was just practice and experience. Your heart and desires are yours, don't let someone dictate them for you. Some people don't realize what they want, until after they lose it.
