Genesis 35:
10 And God said unto him, Thy name is Jacob: thy name shall not be called any more Jacob, but Israel shall be thy name: and he called his name Israel.
11 And God said unto him, I am God Almighty: be fruitful and multiply; a nation and a company of nations shall be of thee, and kings shall come out of thy loins;
Genesis 48:
17 And when Joseph saw that his father laid his right hand upon the head of Ephraim, it displeased him: and he held up his father's hand, to remove it from Ephraim's head unto Manasseh's head.
18 And Joseph said unto his father, Not so, my father: for this is the firstborn; put thy right hand upon his head.
19 And his father refused, and said, I know it, my son, I know it: he also shall become a people, and he also shall be great: but truly his younger brother shall be greater than he, and his seed shall become a multitude of nations.
20 And he blessed them that day, saying, In thee shall Israel bless, saying, God make thee as Ephraim and as Manasseh: and he set Ephraim before Manasseh.
There have been many great nations in history, but only one company of nations and only one great nation considered to be related to that company of nations.

True Christians know that God loves all people, regardless of race, ethnicity or background. Everyone has the same hope of eternal life if they obey Him. However, many "Christian" denominations ruin Jesus' command to "love your neighbor as yourself" by deeply rooting their worship in patriotism. However, there is a world-wide religion that refuses to mix their worship with politics and nationalism. This conviction moves them not to vote, join the army, or participate in political squabbles, they are Jehovah's Witnesses.

God loves His people. He loves it when His children pray. There are millions of born again, bible believing Christians intercessing in prayer for America. Our nation was founded upon Christian principles, despite what many would tell you.
I issue a challenge to anyone who denies this: look up the charters for the original 13 American colonies. Every single one mentions God, or His son, in the charter. Every. Single. One.

Who said God loved America? If anything, He is upset with this country. The general population are not following the Lord's teachings. Gay marriage, going to war for more money and power, porn and sex shops, not helping other countries the way that we should. People investing their money into Google and Facebook instead helping 3rd world countries. This country is just as bad as any other country in God's eyes. I'm so thankful Jesus died for us. The world is corrupt.

"Where ever the EAGLE is, you will see (the name of the bird that eats dead people?).
Our motto, "For God, and Country."

Because they think the US is a christian nation, they think the constitution was founded on Christian principles. And because "one nation under god" is in our pledge of allegiance.
